Prior to Joining Druid Capital in January of 2025, Dan was a Shareholder at JamisonMoneyFarmer. Dan has over 17 years of experience in public accounting. Dan has expertise in financial statements audits and other assurance services. Dan has gained expertise in various industry accounting and international accounting standards. He has industry accounting experience in non-for-profit GAAP, manufacturing accounting, and construction accounting. Due to his work with tier 1 automotive suppliers of BMW and Mercedes, he has expertise in other basis of accounting (IFRS, German GAAP, & UK GAAP).
He has provided advisory services to owners of partnerships and closely held corporations, including tax compliance, business sales or mergers, and tax planning. Dan has assisted with business start-ups in various industries, such as manufacturing, real estate, and craft brewers. He has worked closely with capital investment firms and other clients in the recording and recognition of purchase price allocations in asset and stock acquisitions and sales in the various industries, such as manufacturing, real estate, insurance and printing. He has tax credit experience in R&D credits, cost segregation studies, and other tax credits.
Mr. Johnson received his Bachelor of Accounting from Southern Illinois University and his Master of Accounting from Northern Illinois University and is a Certified Public Accountant in Alabama. Dan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.
