Mr. Plott is a founding member of the General Partner and serves on the Investment Committee. He brings more than 23 years experience as an operations-focused manager in the construction industry as well as residential and commercial real estate development. In recent years, Mr. Plott has completed numerous direct investments covering a broad range of industries including outdoor recreational retail, ornamental trees, and hotels. Mr. Plott has served and continues to serve on numerous business, civic, and academic boards and advisory councils.
Alongside his father, John H. Plott, Mr. Plott serves as President and manages John Plott Company Inc., a heavy civil, commercial, and industrial contractor serving municipal, state, and private sectors across the United States. Started by John H. Plott in 1975, JPC offers clients complete end-to-end solutions, specialized construction capabilities, and experienced hands-on management allowing the company to establish strong, long-term relationships with its clients – including the interests of several Fortune 500 companies. A commitment to integrity, innovation, and safety allows JPC to continue to add value and serve the needs of their clients as well as their dedicated employees.
Mr. Plott received his B.S. Finance from the University of Alabama, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama where he was a four-year letterman on Alabama’s baseball team.
